Residential Living

Arizona MENTOR provides residential services, including small group homes and other group living arrangements for adults and children with developmental disabilities.  Our community-based homes provide a safe and comfortable setting where people can receive services based on their individual support plan.  Whether transitioning from a more restrictive setting or as a transitional step for individuals moving to more independent living arrangements, our group homes offer a continuum of care designed to help each individual live as independently in their community as possible.

In this program, we provide a number of support and service options designed around the needs and interests of the individuals in each home – ranging from 24/7 in-home care and supervision to hourly or even weekly assistance with specific activities.  Attractive and well-maintained, our homes are fully integrated into the surrounding neighborhoods, offering individuals the service and support they need while maintaining important community connections.

We staff our residences with trained professionals who empower residents to learn new skills and participate in community and household activities according to their individually chosen goals.   Many group home residents also participate in Arizona MENTOR’s vocational or day treatment programming where they can continue to learn new skills to help them reach their personal goals.
