Day Treatment

DAY TREATMENT FOR ADULTS

Arizona MENTOR offers Adult Day Treatment programs that focus on individualized training in the areas of communication, self care, community awareness, social development, household chores and money management.  Our Day Treatment programs also encourage participation and integration in a variety of work and recreational activities throughout the community. In addition, Arizona MENTOR offers center-based programming to accommodate individuals interested in group activities including arts & crafts, cooking, educational programs and physical fitness.

DAY TREATMENT FOR CHILDREN

Arizona MENTOR offers Day Treatment and training programs designed especially for school-aged children with physical and developmental disabilities. In our day treatment programs we help each child participate in community activities, develop social and personal care skills, maintain or improve fine and gross motor skills and provide assistance with daily living activities.

In addition, we offer after-school programs to provide children with structured activities that support their individual goals and complement their therapeutic living environment. Our after-school programs include time for recreation, socialization and one-on-one time with a positive adult role model. These programs give youth the opportunity to interact with each other away from the pressures faced in educational or living environments.  Our after-school program staff focus on helping children address their daily challenges in a fun and safe environment that bridges the gap between the end of the school day and their return home.
