07/22/2014
Arizona MENTOR is pleased to welcome AmeriServe International of Arizona, Inc., now operating as Arizona MENTOR. This addition further expands the community-based services and supports we offer to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) across the state.
Since 2009, AmeriServe International of Arizona has provided community-based services for adults and children individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities throughout Maricopa County. Now operating as Arizona MENTOR, AmeriServe has two day programs and a community-based group home, while also offering in-home support services. Each of the day programs—located in Youngtown and Wickenburg—offers skill-building options for adults, as well after-school programs for children.
“AmeriServe International has a strong history in the community of providing exceptional care to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities,” Arizona MENTOR Executive Director Darrell Wright said. “This partnership serves to strengthen the quality of the services we provide.”
Founded in 1995, Arizona MENTOR—a partner of The MENTOR Network—is a leading home- and community-based human services provider. Its programs and supports empower adults and children with intellectual and developmental disabilities—as well as adults with mental health challenges—to learn, grow and thrive in the communities that they call home.
